Today I was able to participate in the lesson portion of the VBS. Jenna is very good at teaching and handling all of the different age groups.
It is great to see the kids on day two - the return students are opening up to those of us they didn't know when they came in yesterday and there are new faces, too. My favorite picture of the day I'll have to share after we return home - Shawn has become the resident jungle gym for some of the littlest tykes.
Jake has been helping out in the opening dramas (acting out the day's Bible story) and has been doing a great job! He has played Saul and Aenaus thus far.
I and the other women participated in the women's Bible study of Psalm 111 this evening. It was nice getting to know some of the women we saw in church on Sunday.
It's time for making tomorrow's snack - dirt cups! We'll be mixing up about 10 packages of pudding this evening!
