Hello, all! We're past 1/2 way now. Today was full of energetic kids - probably the most energy we've seen this week. Jenna said this feels familiar from past years. We had more kids (65) than we had earlier this week too.
Today Christine took the teaching reigns. She had her hands full with the kids bouncing off the walls but did a good job! Shawn had the fun snack job. Today's snack was dirt cups so he was very popular, I'm sure. Jenna got to do the craft which was music themed to go with today's verse: "I will praise you, oh Lord" - Isaiah 12:1.
The kids are definitely getting more familiar with us. I have one who asks me every day if I will be here tomorrow. I tell him "yes," we shake hands and he goes on his way. Today he added a hug. We all have at least 1 in our lap at opening and closing, too.
There's not much else new today. I am doing craft the next two days. Hard to believe there are only two days left, but it's also hard to believe we haven't been here a full week yet. It seems like longer!
